When Leonardo da Vinci created the concept for the first helicopter, he had no formal education in avionics. He had no degree in mechanical engineering and there was no such thing as hydraulic science. In fact, his early knowledge of flight was inspired by his obseravations of birds.
What he did have was a vision – a dream – and the willingness to realize that there is something beyond even what is anticipated by the most eager inventors. He sought risk and explored the possibilities through trial and error. His innovative methodology became a modern foundation for early science, and opened the eyes of all those around him. With a work ethic driven by a passion for the human experience, he created a new brand of communication for the world, fueled by vision and spoken in the voice of an artist.
